Reservation terms

Kickometer is developed and sold by SELLER NOT SET, a Norwegian company, organisation number SELLER NOT SET, SELLER NOT SET. Questions about a reservation: SELLER NOT SET.

A reservation holds one place for one Kickometer in the first production run. It is not a purchase of the product and it is not a binding order, for you or for us. The purchase happens later, when you confirm your final order (section 4).

You reserve by paying the reservation deposit through Stripe Checkout. The reservation exists once the payment has gone through. You then see a confirmation page with your reservation reference (SMA-XXXXX) and receive a receipt from Stripe by email. Keep the reference; it identifies your reservation.

Each reservation covers one Kickometer. To reserve more than one, complete a separate reservation for each.

A reservation is personal to the person who paid. It cannot be sold or transferred to someone else.

Kickometer is still in development. Its final design, features and specifications may differ from what is shown or described on this website. The photographs on the site show football situations; images of Kickometer itself are renders of the current design, not photographs of a finished product. Nothing on this site is a promise of a particular specification.

The reservation deposit and the planned launch price depend on the currency you choose at checkout. The four price points are set individually for each currency; they are not conversions of one another.

• Norwegian kroner: planned launch price 1 499 kr, reservation deposit 299 kr.
• British pounds: planned launch price £119, reservation deposit £25.
• Euro: planned launch price €129, reservation deposit €25.
• US dollars: planned launch price $149, reservation deposit $29.

The deposit is charged in full when you reserve, with no additional fees. You are charged nothing else until you confirm your final order.

The planned launch price is the price we plan to charge for Kickometer at launch. It is not final until we confirm your final order. Shipping costs, and any taxes or duties that apply to delivery in your country, are stated before you confirm. If the final price, the delivery timing or the product itself differs materially from what you reserved against, you are free to decline and receive a full refund of your deposit.

Before the first production run, we contact you at the email address you gave at checkout. We tell you the final price, what is included, the expected delivery timing and how to confirm.

If you confirm, your reservation becomes an order. The deposit is applied to the purchase price, so you pay only the remaining amount.

If you do not want to continue, tell us and we refund the deposit in full.

If we do not hear from you by the deadline we give you (at least 14 days, with at least one reminder), we refund the deposit in full and release your place.

You can ask for your deposit back at any time before you confirm your final order, for any reason. Email SELLER NOT SET with your reservation reference. We refund the full deposit to the payment method you used, through Stripe. The money usually shows up within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

We refund the deposit in full, without you asking, if we cancel the first production run, decide not to launch Kickometer, or cannot deliver to your country.

Refunds are made in the currency and amount you paid. We do not cover exchange-rate differences or fees charged by your own bank or card issuer.

Once you have confirmed your final order, the deposit has been applied to the price and these terms no longer govern it. Your order is then governed by the purchase terms you receive with the final order and by the consumer law that applies to you.

Our current estimate for launch is Spring 2027. This is an estimate, not a promised date. Kickometer is a new physical product and timing can change. We keep everyone who has reserved informed of material changes by email. A change to the estimated launch does not give rise to any claim other than the refund of your deposit described in section 5.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live. If you live in Norway, the EEA or the United Kingdom, you have a right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. Our refund promise goes further: you can withdraw and get your deposit back at any time before you confirm your final order, by emailing SELLER NOT SET.

We use the details you give at checkout to handle your reservation, contact you before production and make refunds. What we collect, why, who processes it and your rights are described in the privacy notice.

We may update these terms, for example when we know more about production or when the law requires it. The version in force when you paid applies to your reservation, unless a change is required by law or is to your benefit. The date at the top shows the current version.

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. If we cannot solve a problem between us, consumers in Norway can contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) for mediation; consumers elsewhere can use the consumer dispute body in their own country. You can also bring the matter before the courts.
