Where do I place it?

On the ground by the goal, next to either goalpost and positioned for the incoming shot. No crossbar, clamp or strap.

Does it need an app?

No. The shot speed appears directly on the display.

Can I use km/h and mph?

Yes. Choose the unit on the back of Kickometer. The display then shows just the number.

Can I use it with a goalkeeper?

Yes. Kickometer is designed to stand by the post while a keeper is in goal. Final placement guidance comes with the product.

What happens when the ball hits it?

That is part of the plan. Kickometer stands by the goal, so it is being built to take the hit and keep showing your number.

What ages is it for?

Kickometer is designed first and foremost for young football players who love shooting, competing and trying to beat their best. Our initial focus is young players, roughly from primary-school age through the early teens.

What do kids actually do with it?

More than we expected. In our first tests the competition started the moment Kickometer was put down and ran for hours. They began with who shoots hardest and went from there, inventing the rest themselves: hardest volley, weak foot only, still ball, rolling ball, and top corner and speed in the same shot. Nobody had to run it for them.

When will Kickometer launch?

Estimated launch is Spring 2027. That is an estimate, not a promised date. Everyone who has reserved is contacted before production.

How does the reservation work?

You pay a fully refundable reservation deposit today (299 kr, £25, €25 or $29, depending on your currency). Before production we contact you to confirm your final order. If you go ahead, the deposit is applied to the purchase price.

Is the reservation deposit refundable?

Yes, in full. If you decide not to continue before the final order is confirmed, your deposit is refunded completely.
