Payment is handled by Stripe. When you press the reserve button you are taken to Stripe Checkout, where you enter your name, email address, billing address and payment details. Your card or payment details go directly to Stripe. They never reach our servers and we never see them.

From Stripe we receive what we need to handle the reservation: your name, email address, billing country and address, the amount and currency you paid, the payment status and your reservation reference. We also attach a small set of non-personal codes to the payment (currency, deposit, planned price, the estimated launch, which button you pressed) and, if present, how you found the site (see the attribution cookie below).

We use this to confirm your reservation, contact you before production to confirm your final order, send you updates about Kickometer’s progress toward launch, make refunds and answer your questions. The legal basis is the reservation agreement with you (GDPR article 6(1)(b)). We keep accounting records of payments and refunds because Norwegian bookkeeping law requires it (GDPR article 6(1)(c)).

You can opt out of progress updates at any time by emailing SELLER NOT SET. We still send the messages needed to handle your reservation, such as the final order confirmation and refund notices.

Our server writes a technical record of each completed reservation (reference, amount, currency, and the name, email address and country Stripe reported) to our hosting provider’s logs, so we can reconcile against Stripe. The hosting provider keeps these logs for a short period.

Stripe also keeps its own records of the payment, as an independent data controller, for example to prevent fraud and to meet its own legal obligations. See Stripe’s privacy policy.

This website sets three first-party cookies. None is set by a third party, none is used for advertising, and none contains your name, email address or any other direct identifier.

• strike_currency: remembers the currency you chose on the reservation block, so the page shows the right prices next time. Set only when you choose a currency. Lifetime 365 days.
• strike_country: a two-letter country code (for example NO or GB) that our hosting provider derives from your IP address on your first visit, so the page can start on a sensible currency. We do not store your IP address in this cookie or anywhere else. Your own currency choice always wins over this hint. Lifetime 30 days.
• strike_attr: remembers how you arrived at the site, if the address you arrived with carried a campaign tag (utm parameters, src or ref, for example from a QR code or a creator link) or you came from another website (we store that site’s domain, not the page). It stores the first and the most recent such arrival, the page you landed on and the time. If you later reserve a Kickometer, this is attached to the payment in Stripe so we can see which channels lead to reservations. It is never shared with an advertising network. Lifetime 90 days.

The currency and country cookies exist only to show you the right prices. For the attribution cookie we rely on our legitimate interest in measuring our own marketing (GDPR article 6(1)(f)); it identifies a channel, not a person. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time. The site still works and a reservation still goes through, in the currency you select.

We do not currently use any analytics, tracking or advertising tool on this website, and the site loads no third-party scripts. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

• Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) and its group companies: payment processing, receipts, refunds, and storage of the reservation and customer record. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
• Vercel Inc. (USA): hosts this website and processes the technical data any web server needs (your IP address, browser type, requested pages) and the server logs described in section 2. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, Vercel’s data processing agreement relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
• Google Workspace: our email. If you email us, your message is stored there.
• Our accountant and accounting system: bookkeeping of payments and refunds.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it.

• Reservation and payment records: for as long as your reservation is open, and afterwards for the period Norwegian bookkeeping law requires (five years after the end of the financial year).
• Progress updates: until you opt out or your reservation is closed.
• Cookies: the lifetimes in section 3, or until you delete them.
• Server logs: a short period set by the hosting provider.

Kickometer is made for young players, but a reservation is a payment and is made by an adult. This website does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email SELLER NOT SET and we will delete it.

Under the GDPR and Norwegian law you can ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email SELLER NOT SET. We answer within one month.

You can also complain to a supervisory authority. In Norway that is Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no). If you live elsewhere in the EEA or in the United Kingdom, you can complain to the authority where you live, for example the ICO in the UK.

We update this notice when the website or our processing changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
